Dan Bergeron / Gaspesia

Dan Bergeron is a Canadian artist known for his interventions based on photos. His work often focuses on issues ignored by the media, trying to bring out the exclusions integrating them in architecture and urban geography. In one of his recent projects "Gaspesia" the artist has created large portraits of former workers

a pulp and paper factory whose closure in 1999 devastated the city of Chandler, Quebec. These black-and-white images of up to 30 feet tall on the remains of the industrial complex.
