Essential forms and materials, Mixis is the new chair designed by Mario Ferrarini for Crassevig. For Mario Ferrarini, young designer from pragmatic and visionary, intuition, research, business relations themselves are beginning to confront and which give rise to products with a story of its own, where the unknowns of design thought and realization are translated into innovative ideas that they investigate new frontiers.

American company Emeco, maker of chairs, he collaborated with the French designer Philippe Starck to develop Broom Chair, presented during the Salone del Mobile di Milano 2012. The project introduces a completely new composite material, obtained by combining regenerated polypropylene and wood fiber discarded to create a compound that has a threefold impact: less energy, less waste and less carbon-conservation of natural resources and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

  ChairTip     Vitra's Ton  design, designed by  Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby    defines a new standard for dynamic sitting, and seemingly could resemble a simple Rocking Chair: from a resting position, in fact, the Tip Ton tilts forward until the user reaches a defined point, then the Chair lands gently in the sitting position leaning forward.

The texture and warmth of wood add personality to essential and functional lines to the seat of   designer Aava Antti Kotilainenone of the innovations that Arper will submit to Salone del Mobile 2013. Its delicate curves give life to a contemporary profile, surprising and elegant at the same time, a versatile form able to communicate and integrate into any environment. Suitable for both residential and contract use, Aava can be made of materials, colours and finishes.

The Rama Chair is the new born among the products developed by Kristalia. The Spanish name evocative Rama, branch in Italian, already has the main characteristic of the product that is the predominant presence of wood. The Chair is characterised by a frame in multilayer wood supported by an almost invisible structure in die-cast aluminium and solid wood legs. The Chair will be presented during the Salone del Mobile di Milano and it will be the first born of a future series characterized by different variations and finishes. The project is of studio Ramos Bassols and it was love at first sight, indeed at first mail.

Calligaris in 2013 celebrates its 90th birthday and to usher in a new decade has designed a collection full of optimism and color, dedicated to a young and informal, but also edited in design and choice of materials. The collection will be exhibited at the next Salone del Mobile 2013.

Donati shall submit to the Salone del Mobile 2013 his most recent project, the modular seating system ONLY designed by Marcello Ziliani.

Alma Design  will submit to salone del mobile in 2013 two new sessions that will enrich the collection X, X-big and X-soft, both designed by designer Mario Mazzer.
