New perspectives for a classic product: Bag in Box " Mauro Chardonnay "
Since the beginning of this project of packaging design, Box Brands She was involved from your Oenoforos account, which has provided the company maximum designations marches on the structure and design, leaving, however, overall ample space of autonomy. Only constraint: the new Bag in Box should be constructed in such a way that it can be stored with ease and convenience in the fridge by the end consumer.
Box Brands has proved since the early stages of design to create a craving that packaging is in compliance with the customer's instructions, totally different from the other Bag in Box on the market. These, in the preponderance of cases, have standard formats, now consolidated forms and, therefore, appear to be repetitive and discounted. The result reached by Box Brands, instead, was a real innovation: the special structure of the new box has allowed a new use of the Bag in Box, which can be stored in refrigerator both vertically and horizontally without the wine contained in the plastic bag inside out. This feature was much appreciated by the customer to want to give importance doing print instructions for use the packaging to hand over the Bag in Box faucet. The shape of the packaging also generates a special visual effect on the shelf that attracts consumers because of its shape totally counterbalancing the other wines sold under this particular packaging.
As for the graphics, this was handled by the packaging designer Sofia Blomberg of Oenoforos. For the special processing features-with reference to the curved sides and corners-Box Brands chose a material of high quality, reliable and at the same time easy to use: cardstock CKB (CKB 235 g/sq.m coupled to KM/46/glossy, acrylic and hot stamping and relief on the logo and the Sun), from Stora Enso product.
Va finally remembered that this convergence of expertise and collaboration between the two companies led Bag in Box Mauro Chardonnay became the holder of the prestigious award Ecma 2011 ProCarton Beverages category.
