DuPont announces the winners of the international architectural competition "Changing the Face"

The winners of the seventh edition of the international architectural competition "Changing   the Face" have just been announced the organizers of the competition: DuPont, PKO Bank Polski, the Polish Union of architects and the Polish branch of the Green Building Council.

The aim of the competition was to design the renovation of the Rotunda in Warsaw, one of contemporary symbols of the city, taking into account strict guidelines, including designing a building with inside a place used for cultural activities and urban space open to the public. The projects had to be designed considering the use of DuPont materials as the techno-DuPont ™ Corian ® surface, breathable membranes for DuPont ™ Tyvek ® construction, geotextiles for DuPont ™ landscaping Plantex ®, DuPont ™ Teflon ® coatings and DuPont ™ SentryGlas ® interlayer for laminated safety glass  .

Peter Jungmann / Ufogel, a 45-square-foot House in the mountains in Austria

Overlooking one of the finest mountain panoramas in Austria, this 45-square-foot house designed by Peter Jungmann is a fully equipped and functional home, located on a hill in the village of Nussdorf. Playfully takes its name from a combination of the words "UFO" and "VOGEL", which in German means bird, Ufogel is set on stilts and structured as a holiday house which captures spectacular views available, having the least possible impact on the natural environment in which it is inserted.
