apollo architects and associates: knot
Knot of apollo architects and associates is a 100 m2 for a pair of spouses, located in a residential district of Tokyo on a corner of a hilly site. The building benefits from difference half a floor between the front and back establishing a Visual continuity.
The exterior, which resembles a partially open drawer, is composed of reinforced concrete and glass. A series of translucent panels of veranda, provide plenty of natural light for the living room while continuing to maintain a level of privacy. Another space vacuum coated glass acts as a well of light between the kitchen and dining area.
